Discover Airlines launches long-haul routes from Munich - three new nonstop destinations
With Orlando, Windhoek and Calgary, Discover Airlines is adding long-haul connections to the Lufthansa Group's offering from Munich for the first time. Since March 5, Discover Airlines has been flying nonstop three times a week to Orlando, Florida. This was followed in April by direct flights to Windhoek in Namibia and Calgary in Canada.
The new destinations offer business travelers better connectivity to economically important markets. Overall, Discover Airlines is expanding its entire offering from Munich: With over 30 destinations and more than 80 weekly flights on short, medium and long-haul routes, the airline offers more choice than ever before. All flights depart from Lufthansa Terminal 2 and enable fast connections to the global route network. The growing fleet in Munich comprises eight aircraft, including six Airbus A320s and two Airbus A330s.
