Lufthansa is set to redefine the onboard experience on long-haul flights

With the Future Onboard Experience (FOX) initiative, Lufthansa is fundamentally redesigning all onboard services and processes. Starting spring 2026, long-haul passengers can look forward to a noticeably enhanced travel experience – across Economy, Premium Economy, Business, and First Class.
At the heart of FOX are personalized experiences, more freedom, greater comfort, and genuine hospitality that reflect Lufthansa’s signature character.
Personalization
Passengers will have more options to tailor their flight experience to their preferences. For example, Business Class travelers will be able to enjoy their second meal at a flexible time – whenever it suits them best. The experience is becoming more personalized in Economy and Premium Economy Class as well: instead of two, guests will soon be able to choose from three meal options.
Comfort
Lufthansa is placing an even stronger emphasis on premium quality: with high-end amenities, upgraded textiles, and an all-new tableware concept across all travel classes.
Lufthansa Signature Moments
FOX introduces exclusive Lufthansa moments onboard – such as the iconic rose and unique caviar service in First Class, or the Avionic as a signature drink. When it comes to cuisine, a triad of home, variety and Lufthansa signature dishes, curated by top chefs will create exceptional dining experiences at altitude.
The launch of FOX is planned for spring 2026.
