Reopening of the Brussels Airlines lounge THE LOFT delayed
(1 July 2026)
Back in January 2026, we shared news about the extensive renovation of THE LOFT, the award-winning lounge in Terminal A at Brussels Airport. The reopening, however, has been pushed back and is now scheduled for November 2026. Adjustments made during the course of the project have resulted in a longer construction period.
To ensure travelers continue to enjoy exclusive comfort during the renovation, Brussels Airlines offers two attractive alternatives:
Pop-up LOFT
Located near Gate A27, this temporary lounge spans 200 m² and accommodates up to 67 guests. Open daily from 05:00 to 21:00, the Pop-up LOFT focuses on a smaller but premium choice of food and beverages only, all available to go for maximum flexibility.
Sunrise Lounge with extended hours
The existing Sunrise Lounge in the A-pier, typically reserved for Business Class travelers to Sub-Saharan Africa, now offers extended opening hours. In addition to its regular morning service, it is open daily from 15:00 to 20:45, welcoming up to 150 guests.
With this major investment and thoughtful interim solutions, Brussels Airlines reaffirms its commitment to delivering a first-class lounge experience for premium customers. Stay tuned for more details on the redesigned LOFT in the coming months.
