With a new cabin design, upgraded seating, and refined on-board service, SWISS Senses creates an atmosphere of comfort from the moment passengers step on board. While all travel classes benefit from the concept, the most striking changes are found in SWISS First and SWISS Business. The newly developed seats, recently showcased in the SWISS Experience Hub, offer a preview of the comfort and privacy that awaits guests.
A first glimpse of the new SWISS Senses cabin
A calm and timeless design
The cabin blends understated elegance with carefully selected materials, creating a warm and welcoming ambiance. Bordeaux, anthracite, and beige tones convey subtle luxury, and soft textures encourage relaxation. Light plays an essential role in the overall experience. The Human Centric Lighting system gently adapts to the time of day, supporting the body’s natural rhythm and encouraging restful sleep while helping to reduce jet lag.
SWISS First
The most noticeable change to SWISS First is the addition of fully enclosed suites on long-haul flights. Passengers can choose between the Single Suite and the Suite Plus, which are designed for both individual guests and couples. The suites feature premium materials, personalized climate control, and generous storage, creating an exclusive atmosphere. Integrated ambient lighting and state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment with Bluetooth connectivity ensure the highest level of comfort from takeoff to landing.
SWISS Business
The new SWISS Business offers five distinct seating options, each with direct aisle access. The Business Suite provides additional privacy with closable doors. The other seats are designed to offer an extended bed length, enhanced storage, or a more open feel. Premium materials and personalized climate control enhance comfort. Passengers can adjust the seating and entertainment settings using a separate control tablet. The latest inflight entertainment system with Bluetooth connectivity makes every journey more enjoyable.
SWISS Premium Economy
SWISS Premium Economy offers greater comfort and more personal space for long-haul travel. The fixed-shell seat design enables passengers to lean back without disturbing those behind them. The onboard experience is enhanced by premium materials, generous legroom, and thoughtful storage solutions. A large, high-definition screen with Bluetooth connectivity and a wireless charging station provide entertainment and convenience throughout the journey.

SWISS Economy offers improved seat ergonomics and additional legroom for greater comfort on long-haul flights. Adjustable headrests and a bright, open cabin design ensure a pleasant atmosphere throughout the journey. Each seat has a large, high-definition screen with Bluetooth connectivity, so passengers can use their own headphones for a personalized entertainment experience.
From reveal to reality
The new first and business class seats will debut on the Airbus A350-900 in autumn 2025. Starting in January 2026, the aircraft will operate long-haul services with flights to Boston, which are already open for booking. This marks the beginning of a new chapter in the SWISS travel experience.
