Eurowings introduces premium business seats on medium-haul routes
This autumn Eurowings introduces its new Premium BIZ seat on the A320neo. Eurowings will be the first airline in Germany to offer premium seats in a narrow body aircraft. The new Premium BIZ seat raises comfort on medium-haul routes, delivering added privacy and a more tranquil cabin environment for business travelers. The upgrade sets a fresh benchmark in the value segment.
Eurowings will be installing premium business seats from the prestigious Italian manufacturer Geven in its Airbus A320neo. Featuring adjustable backrests, ergonomic design, and generous upholstery in a 2x2 layout, these seats provide significantly greater comfort and privacy than typically found on today’s medium-haul aircraft.
The expanded Business Class offering will launch in November 2025, making its debut on the non-stop Berlin–Dubai route. Positioned as a premium upgrade within the Eurowings BIZclass, the new product introduces multiple comfort levels on select medium-haul routes: Alongside the new Premium BIZ Seat (eight seats per aircraft), passengers can also choose from the classic BIZclass (with a free middle seat and extra legroom), as well as SMART and BASIC fares in Economy Class – with optional upgrades such as additional legroom.
The new Premium BIZ seat marks the first step in a broader product and service initiative. Over the course of the year, Eurowings customers can look forward to additional innovative offerings designed to significantly enhance the travel experience for all passengers on short- and medium-haul routes.
