With the updated hotel booking functionality, you can react directly if your flight has been rebooked for the following day and organize your overnight stay independently.
As soon as you are affected by a flight irregularity and an overnight stay becomes necessary, you will be directed to the hotel booking page via SMS or e-mail. The online service recommends hotels in the immediate vicinity that can be reached on foot or by public transport.
In order to use this service, your contact details must be stored in the booking. Only then will you receive the link to the hotel platform.
After an initial test run, this service is already in place at Frankfurt Airport and will be available at more and more airports.
