Austrian Airlines presents new amenity kits in cooperation with the MAK

In collaboration with the renowned Vienna Museum of Applied Arts (MAK), Austrian Airlines is introducing new amenity kits on long-haul flights in Business Class – inspired by historical textile designs from the Wiener Werkstätte, the world-famous production community of visual artists founded in 1903.

A total of three original textile designs from the Wiener Werkstätte archives were selected, each of which was implemented in two color variations – for a total of six unique amenity kits. The designs are by important artists of Austrian modernism: Koloman Moser, Dagobert Peche, and Mathilde Flögl.

The Business Class amenity kits contain practical travel essentials such as a sleep mask, toothbrush, toothpaste tablets, earplugs, and socks – all packaged in artistically designed paper sleeves. A banderole provides information about the respective artist and the MAK.
