Austrian Airlines passengers will also receive a small rucksack in an Austrian design as a limited edition on selected flights.

Passengers can enjoy up to 400 hours ​of video and audio entertainment in digital quality on Austrian Airlines high-resolution 15-inch touch screens (38 cm) with noise-cancelling headphones.

Passengers can reserve their Extra Space seat: Window or aisle? Both: nobody will be sitting directly next to them. A seat that offers more space and storage than any other. The Extra Space seat is an exclusive offer that passengers can book on long-haul flights in Business Class.

After a three year long pause due to the pandemic, Austrian Airlines and catering partner DO & CO are planning the comeback of the “Flying Chefs”. Starting April 2023, the chefs will once again pamper Business class guests on Austrian Airlines long-haul flights with culinary delights – and offer an unforgettable gourmet experience above the clouds with top-class service.

Premium Economy Class is Austrian Airlines travel class with extra comfort on long-haul flights. Passengers can enjoy numerous advantages such as an extra-wide seat with an increased tilt angle for a relaxing flight.

In Austrian Airlines Premium Economy Class, passengers can expect a modern seat that can be adjusted to their individual needs. They will enjoy a high level of comfort thanks to a wider seat area, foot supports and adjustable head support.

The slightly wider armrest with a foldable table can be perfectly converted into a mobile workspace thanks to the socket and USB connection. Passengers can keep their personal items close at hand in the additional storage space.

After boarding, passengers will receive a welcome drink as refreshment. After reaching the cruising altitude, Austrian Airlines staff will serve a three- to four-course meal with a choice of three main courses. Depending on the time of day, passengers will then be served breakfast or a snack. Of course, Austrain Airlines wide range of drinks including Austrian wines, beer, coffee, tea and spirits is also available throughout the flight. Each passenger also receives a bottle of water.

Your passengers don’t have to restrict themselves with luggage thanks to Premium Economy enhanced baggage allowances. They will receive a Premium Economy Class Amenity Kit on board with a sleep mask, toothbrush and other useful items for the flight. Austrain Airlines  crew will also distribute hot towels to refresh immediately after take-off.

To meet the growing demand for more travel comfort, Austrian Airlines will expand Premium Economy Class on its largest aircraft type, the Boeing B777 – from the current 24 seats to 40 seats. In addition to the enlarged Premium Economy Class, the seat capacity of Austrian Airlines’ B777 fleet will be increased by 14 Economy Class seats per aircraft. This will add 144 seats to the total capacity of Austrian Airlines’ long-haul fleet.

By May 2023, all Austrian Airlines “Triple Seven” will take off with the new seating configuration.

Passengers will arrive even more relaxed at their destination on our long-haul flights. Further extras are available in addition to the services on short and medium-haul routes.

Passengers can choose between two free menus during the flight. Before landing, they will receive a small refreshment. They have the opportunity to find out which menus await them on their flight before departure.
