Network updates for the winter flights schedule 2026/27

This winter, the Lufthansa Group airlines unlock premium travel to more destinations worldwide. Lufthansa is introducing Lufthansa Allegris to eleven new destinations across Asia, America, and Africa – starting October 25, 2026, with direct service from Frankfurt to Kuala Lumpur. Travelers can expect elevated cabin design, enhanced in-flight service, and innovative seating across all classes. From Munich, new Lufthansa Allegris routes include Singapore, Washington, and Cape Town. In addition, the German airline is increasing frequencies on high-demand long-haul routes to Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Bogotá, Lagos, and Mexico City.

SWISS is expanding with Bengaluru and bringing the SWISS Senses experience to Johannesburg and Shanghai. ITA Airways is debuting in the Caribbean with Santo Domingo, while Brussels Airlines is extending service to Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. Across the network, increased frequencies on popular routes offer more flexibility for business travelers.
Eurowings is strategically expanding its winter schedule with additional high-demand European routes, particularly between Berlin and Nordic winter destinations such as Kuusamo in Finnish Lapland. Discover Airlines is also expanding its route network to Scandinavian destinations, including flights to Ivalo, Finland, as well as two new destinations in Morocco. Starting in late October, the leisure airline will connect Frankfurt with the coastal city of Agadir and offer the only direct connection from Munich to the historic royal city of Fès in northeastern Morocco.
Due to strong demand for flights to Scandinavia, Edelweiss will further increase its services to Finland and Norway. In addition, flights to Luleå in Swedish Lapland – a new destination introduced last year – will be extended.
