Air China to launch new flights from Brussels in March 2026
(9 February 2026)
Air China will add two new nonstop routes from Brussels to its 2026 summer schedule: to Beijing and Chengdu. The Lufthansa Group's joint venture partner will launch five weekly flights between Brussels and Beijing (PEK) on 24 March 2026. Starting 1 April 2026, the service will be increased to daily frequencies. Beijing is China's political and cultural center and offers ideal connecting flights within the country.
Starting 26 March 2026, Air China will fly three times a week from Brussels to Chengdu (TFU). The city in Sichuan province is world-renowned for its cuisine, breathtaking nature, and the Giant Panda Research Center.
With the new connections, the joint offering of Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa, SWISS, Air China, and Shenzhen Airlines in the 2026 summer flight schedule will increase to a total of 221 weekly flights between Europe and China. For travel agencies, this means more choice, better combination options, and additional capacity to specifically meet the growing demand for travel to China.
