Munich Airport: Eurowings moves to Terminal 2

On 25 March 2026, Eurowings will move to Terminal 2 at Munich Airport. Check-in and departure gates will then be located exclusively in this terminal. Travelers can also use all available self-service kiosks in Terminal 2 for check-in and baggage drop-off. Tip for advising customers: The Eurowings check-in area is located close to the southern exit E04.

The move brings a major advantage: for the first time, all Lufthansa Group airlines in Munich will be housed under one roof. For travelers, this means significantly shorter walking distances, more efficient transfer processes, and a harmonized service and terminal experience. Transfer passengers will benefit, as terminal changes will no longer be required, and orientation at the airport will become noticeably easier.
