New from December 2025: AIRail now also available from Klagenfurt

Starting 14 December 2025, Klagenfurt, the gateway to Carinthia's lakes, mountains, and culture, will become part of the AIRail network operated by Austrian Airlines and ÖBB. The new direct connection will take travelers from Vienna Airport (VIE) to Klagenfurt Central Station (KGV) and back seven times a day, with a total journey time of just under four hours. Convenient, climate-friendly, and with just one ticket for train and flight.

Good to know: The 2025/2026 winter flight schedule also includes two daily flights between Vienna (VIE) and Klagenfurt (KLU), operated by Austrian Airlines' wet lease partner Braathens Regional Airlines.
