As of October 10, 2023, the pandemic-related fare changes to the Economy Light and Business Saver European fares will no longer apply. 

Please note that the attractively priced Economy Light and Business Saver fares can thus no longer be rebooked.

With this adjustment, Lufthansa Group Airlines is once again ensuring greater differentiation between the individual fare options. Travelers can always choose exactly the fare that meets their needs - in terms of service performance, flexibility and sustainability. 

Tickets with Economy Light or Business Saver fares issued before Oct. 10, 2023, can still be rebooked for a fee. This adjustment affects all distribution channels as well as all fares derived from an Economy Light or Business Saver fare. For example, the (Sustainable) Corporate Value Fares. 

If you want to remain flexible on your business trips, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Lufthansa, SWISS, Air Dolomiti and Discover Airlines continue to offer several fares in Economy Class and Business Class that can be rebooked at any time. In doing so, you can flexibly adjust both the routes (including origin and destination*) and the travel date. 

* Exception: domestic tickets may not be converted to international tickets.
