New on board: Premium BIZ Seats on Eurowings medium-haul routes

Comfort that is otherwise only seen on wide-body jets – coming to Europe's medium-haul routes soon: Eurowings is launching a completely new business class experience for longer medium-haul routes this autumn: the ‘Premium BIZ seat’.

Instead of the industry-standard seating with 2x3 economy seats per row, Eurowings will be installing premium business seats in its Airbus A320neo for the first time. With adjustable backrests, ergonomic design and generous upholstery in a 2x2 arrangement, they offer significantly more comfort and privacy than is usual in today's medium-haul jets.

The expanded Business Class offering will celebrate its premiere in November 2025, initially on the Berlin-Dubai route.

Your customers will be able to choose from several comfort levels on this route in future:

• Premium BIZ Seat: 8 seats per flight, the premium option for even more comfort
• BIZclass: With free middle seat and more legroom
• SMART & BASIC: Economy fares – with bookable extras and services

The new seat concept will be bookable starting August 2025 exclusively via www.eurowings.com – as a higher-value option within the Eurowings BIZclass.

The market trials will also provide important insights for other Lufthansa Group airlines for future configurations of new aircraft fleets.
