As a First Class passenger, your passengers can take plenty of hand baggage (2 x 8 kg) and checked baggage (3 x 32 kg) with them on their travels. And once they are at their destination they will soon be ready to leave, as their baggage has priority and is processed quickly.

The Zimmerli × SWISS amenity kit comes in four designs and colors—rotating throughout the year—which reflect craftsmanship, shaped by tradition and exclusivity. In SWISS Premium Economy travelers will receive a toiletries bag made from sustainable materials and containing a toothbrush and toothpaste, a sleeping mask and ear-plugs. This is available in different variants, shapes and colors depending on the departure airport.

The Airline of Switzerland sets new standards on long-haul flights by introducing SWISS Premium Economy on intercontinental flights. The new travel class is the preferred option for passengers who value individuality and want to arrive at their destination feeling even more relaxed. In comparison with SWISS Economy, the new travel class offers a superior seat, added comfort, and excellent entertainment at an attractive price.

Starting in the first quarter of 2022, SWISS Premium Economy will be gradually introduced on the Boeing 777 sub-fleet and can be experienced on selected flights only. Starting end of May 2022, the new travel class will be available on all SWISS flights operated by a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

The new travel class aboard the Boeing 777-300ER consists of three rows, with 24 seats (2-4-2 configuration) in total. The small cabin size makes for an exclusive ambience.

SWISS Premium Economy can be booked in booking classes G, E, and N—initially for flights starting end of May 2022 which are operated by a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

During the introduction phase starting in the first quarter of 2022, i.e. until the entire SWISS Boeing 777-300ER fleet (consisting of twelve aircraft) is equipped with the new travel class, SWISS Economy guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the new travel class by purchasing an upgrade at an attractive price.

The first Boeing 777-300ER aircraft with the new travel class on board will initially operate daily between Zurich and Miami, followed by San Francisco (from mid-April 2022) and São Paulo (from the end of April 2022). Starting end of May 2022, the new travel class will be available on all SWISS flights operated by a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

SWISS Premium Economy can now be experienced from all angles, allowing one to get a comprehensive look at the advantages of the new travel class. To view, simply scan the QR code with your device and enjoy 360-degree views. Thanks to augmented reality (AR), you can project the new travel class in your preferred environment in 3D and true to size.

Passengers can sit back, relax, and enjoy our SWISS service and the selected products on board.

Regardless of the length of the flight in our Economy Class passengers sit comfortably. Even on a night flight the adjustable headrests ensure they have a good night's sleep. They can reserve a seat in advance to suit their needs (seat in a preferred zone or with extra legroom).

Meat-lover or vegetarian? Travelers can choose between two hot meals. All our drinks, including wine and spirits, are included in the service. For passengers with special needs, children's and special meals can be ordered online in advance, free of charge.

Passengers can compose their individual entertainment program. They can choose from over 140 movies, TV programmes, games, the latest blockbusters, award-winning documentaries, and most popular TV series.

Economy Class tickets includes one item of hand baggage and checked baggage (except for Light fare). Passengers can easily book additional baggage online if they desire.

Economy Class passengers can check in quickly and without a queue. Online check-in takes them to their boarding pass in just a few steps. If they book their flight on swiss.com they can choose automated check-in. We will send them their boarding pass by email to print out or directly to their smartphone as a mobile boarding pass.
