Edelweiss
From tropical dreams to northern lights: three new Edelweiss destinations this winter
(2 October 2025)
Whether it’s the Arctic Northern Lights or a tropical volcanic panorama, the Edelweiss winter flight schedule 2025/2026 will take your customers to three extraordinary new destinations.
Luleå, located 1,200 kilometers north of Stockholm, is a charming coastal city in Swedish Lapland. Unlike other winter destinations in the region, Luleå uniquely combines Arctic nature experiences with urban life: restaurants, museums, and inviting boutiques meet the Northern Lights, ice roads, and snowy expanses. It’s the perfect choice for travelers seeking adventure without sacrificing comfort.
Two new islands are expanding the Edelweiss Cape Verde offering: São Vicente, home to the vibrant port city of Mindelo — the cultural heart of the archipelago — and the neighboring island of Santo Antão, a hiking paradise with green gorges, mountains, and tropical flair.
Santiago, with its capital Praia, impresses with diverse landscapes ranging from fertile highlands and tranquil beach resorts to the volcanic island of Fogo. Both destinations are served by Edelweiss via Sal.
The new flights at-a-glance:
- Zurich–Luleå (LLA): once weekly starting 19 December 2025
- Zurich–São Vicente (VXE): once weekly starting 29 October 2025
- Zurich–Praia (RAI): once weekly starting 30 October 2025
