Fly with Lufthansa from Frankfurt to Trondheim this summer
(6 November 2025)
Demand for Nordic destinations is on the rise – and Lufthansa is responding: Starting 1 May 2026, Trondheim (TRD) will be served four times a week from Frankfurt for the first time. Together with existing flights from Munich, this results in daily service to Norway's third-largest city.
This charming metropolis on the fjord delights visitors with its modern architecture, vibrant culture, and spectacular nature. Other Scandinavian destinations such as Bergen (BGO) and Stavanger (SVG) will also be further expanded in Lufthansa's 2026 summer flight schedule. Anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle and experience the Nordic outdoors will find their ideal destination here.
Winter 2025/2026: Fly with Lufthansa from Munich to Riyadh
(22 August 2025)

Riyadh is the cultural and economic center of the province of the same name—a dynamic metropolis where Saudi Arabia's roots meet modern architecture and urban life. The new connection complements Lufthansa's daily flights to/from Frankfurt.
In addition to Riyadh, the airlines of the Lufthansa Group also fly to Dammam (DMM) and Jeddah (JED) – offering a total of 24 weekly flights to Saudi Arabia in winter 2025/2026.
