Austrian Airlines recognized for outstanding service and hospitality

At the 2026 Skytrax World Airline Awards, Austrian Airlines once again received multiple accolades. Among its achievements, the airline was named ‘Best Cabin Crew in Europe’ and ‘Best Cabin Crew in Western Europe’. Austrian Airlines also earned second place in the ‘Best Airline Staff in Europe’ category.

The awards recognize Austrian Airlines' commitment to exceptional service, professionalism, and hospitality, qualities that continue to set the airline apart and contribute to a consistently positive travel experience.

The SKYTRAX World Airline Awards

The SKYTRAX World Airline Awards are regarded worldwide as a benchmark for excellence in the airline industry and are often referred to as the ‘Oscars of the aviation industry.’ The awards are based on the results of the world’s largest annual passenger survey in the aviation sector, conducted by market research organization SKYTRAX since 1999 to measure customer satisfaction.

Passengers from more than 100 countries participated in this year’s survey, with more than 325 airlines worldwide being evaluated.
