More choice from Munich: Discover Airlines expands long-haul offer
Discover Airlines is significantly expanding its presence at Munich Airport in 2025 and adding long-haul destinations to its offering. The airline will station two of its current 13 Airbus A330s in Munich from March 2025.
Orlando, Windhoek and Calgary are long-haul destinations on the flight schedule that are not only exciting for tourists but are also very important for business travelers.
- From March 3, 2025, flights will be operated to Orlando (MCO) in the US state of Florida, an important center of the leisure and film industry.
- Windhoek (WDH), the capital of Namibia and the economic and political center of the country, will be served by regular flights from April 1, 2025.
- Calgary (YYC), in the western Canadian province of Alberta, will complete the new long-haul service from Munich on April 12, 2025.
These three long-haul connections have never been offered from Munich before or were last offered many years ago. The expansion of the presence in Munich is an important step towards extending the Lufthansa Group's offering at the two major German hubs.
