No COVID tests when entering China

The People's Republic of China is one of the largest economies in the world and an important trading partner. Due to the relaxation of entry regulations, business travel to China has become easier again.

As of August 30, 2023, there is no longer a testing requirement on air travel to the People's Republic. All other COVID-19-related entry requirements have now also been lifted. The entry of test results in the health declaration of the Chinese customs is also no longer required. Despite all facilitations, routine infection control may still be required for persons entering the country.

Lufthansa Group Airlines is accordingly increasing its capacity to Hong Kong and Shanghai.
