Short-term rebooking remains free of charge with Eurowings

Travel plans can change. Even at short notice. With Flex Light, travelers with a myEurowings account can continue to rebook once up to 40 minutes before departure free of charge. This service applies to bookings in the SMART or BIZclass fare.

During the Corona pandemic, fee-free rebooking was introduced as a goodwill measure - now it will become a fixed component of Eurowings services. Eurowings thus continues to focus on flexibility for business travelers. So continue to plan flights with Eurowings without stress - and simply rebook free of charge if necessary.

Here is how it works: Effective immediately, travelers with a myEurowings account can take advantage of the new Flex Light service. When booking a flight in the SMART or BIZclass fare, this is included free of charge and allows a one-time rebooking of the flight up to 40 minutes in advance free of charge. Only the possible price difference to the new flight has to be paid.

If you or your travelers do not have a myEurowings account, Flex Light can simply be added for ten euros.

Even without Flex Light, travelers will benefit from a significantly lower rebooking fee in the future. Eurowings is reducing the fee from 70 euros to 50 euros per rebooking.

The new Flex Light fare applies to flights from October 26, 2023. For travelers who have booked beforehand or who participate in the EW4Business corporate program as business customers, nothing changes - the respective terms and conditions at the time of the flight booking apply here.
