Lufthansa Express Rail - Wolfsburg and Essen add to route network

From March 1, 2024, Wolfsburg and Essen will also be reached via the Lufthansa Group Airlines route network. In total, travelers can now reach 28 cities throughout Germany from Frankfurt Airport with Lufthansa Express Rail. Thanks to the optimal coordination of train and flight times and the connection guarantee in the event of delays or train and flight cancellations, there is a seamless connection along the entire route. The advantages of this offer are numerous: travelers only need a single ticket for train and flight, automatically have a seat reserved on the train, and can get through the security check at Frankfurt Airport more quickly with the use of Fast Lanes. A Lufthansa Express Rail connection is now available to the following German cities:

Aachen, Augsburg, Basel, Berlin, Bremen, Dortmund, Dresden, Düsseldorf, Erfurt, Essen, Freiburg, Göttingen, Hamburg, Hanover, Kassel, Cologne, Karlsruhe, Leipzig, Mannheim, Munich, Münster, Nuremberg, Osnabrück, Siegburg, Stuttgart, Ulm, Wolfsburg and Würzburg.
