Until now, the full Onboard Delights service could only be enjoyed on flights with a scheduled duration of 60 minutes. Lufthansa is now extending this service to shorter routes. From a flight time of 45 minutes, travelers can now choose from the high-quality products of exclusive partners Dallmayr and dean&david and enjoy fresh meals prepared by hand and with love.

This expansion affects over 100 flights a day. Lufthansa is thus fulfilling passengers' wishes for more consistency and choice. Always with the aim of increasing passenger satisfaction. The catering offer within the Lufthansa Group will also be optimized and standardized. With Austrian Melangerie and SWISS Saveurs, passengers of these airlines can already choose from a wide range of products on shorter flights.

Onboard Delights offers a high-quality range of fresh meals, snacks and drinks in Economy Class on European flights, which has been available from Lufthansa since May 2021. Passengers can order in advance online or directly on board and pay the crew with a card or miles.
