Standardized and digital: the new Lufthansa Group airline boarding passes
The digital boarding passes of all Lufthansa Group airlines will soon be given a new, uniform and clearer design. This means that travelers will always have an overview of all important travel data.
The new design of the digital boarding passes is based on a standardized, intuitive template that is tailored to all relevant airlines. This means that business travelers flying with several Lufthansa Group airlines can expect seamless handling of the digital boarding passes, as the design of the boarding pass remains virtually unchanged throughout the entire journey.
The new digital boarding pass contains:
- Information on the free baggage allowance in relation to the flight price - so travelers always know how much free baggage they can take with them on their trip.
- Gate closing times in relation to the scheduled departure time - so that travelers can better plan their arrival.
- Time and place of baggage check-in.
With the new digital and standardized boarding passes, travelers will always have all relevant information at a glance - starting with Lufthansa and Austrian Airlines in the first quarter of 2024, followed by Brussels Airlines, SWISS, Air Dolomiti, Discover Airlines and Edelweiss.
