Due to construction work to renew the baggage sorting facility at Zurich Airport, SWISS is temporarily welcoming Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers at a different check-in. Until spring 2024, the temporary check-in will be located on the lower level of the shopping area at Check-in 3.

The second and final stage of the conversion is planned for October 2024. During this time, the check-in counters for SWISS Economy and Premium Economy will again be located at Check-in 3.

The temporary change to check-in affects SWISS, Edelweiss and other Lufthansa Group airlines flying from Zurich Airport. Status customers and Business and First Class passengers are not affected. Only Check-in 1 for status customers and Business and First Class passengers will move from the north to the south side during the construction work.  

Passengers will receive more detailed information in advance and on the spot. For example, SWISS alerts the passengers affectedby the changes via e-mail and notices on the digital boarding pass.
