Munich Airport: Another "5-Star" award

Munich Airport has been awarded the coveted seal of quality for the fourth time in a row. The "5-Star" award is the best possible seal of quality that an airport can achieve in the regular review by the London-based Skytrax Institute. This means that Bavaria's gateway to the world remains Germany's only 5-star airport and is one of only eleven 5-star airports in the world. 

The personal commitment of all employees at Munich Airport was particularly emphasized. The Bavarian premium hub is highly committed and invests heavily in continuous improvements and developments in order to meet and exceed travelers' expectations. The installation of new CT scanners at the security checkpoints, the expansion of digitalized processes, such as the use of biometrics, clear and comprehensible routing and the very high level of passenger comfort impressed the experts from the Skytrax Institute. 

Terminal 2 and the satellite building, which are operated jointly with Lufthansa, also contribute significantly to the outstanding award and are also an expression of the unique cooperation between the airport and the airline. Passengers and employees alike benefit from the great commitment of the partners. As a result, all passengers feel at home at Bavaria's international aviation hub.
