Effective 1 September 2022: Differentiation of Distribution Cost Charge (DCC) per GDS

Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Lufthansa, SWISS and Air Dolomiti are adjusting the Distribution Cost Charge (DCC). Starting 1 September 2022 (date of ticket issuance), the current DCC of EUR 19 / CHF 19 / USD 21 / CAD 29 / GBP 17 per ticket will be modified to a DCC varying per Global Distribution System (GDS). The adjustment is in line with the Lufthansa Group airlines' policy to increase transparency by reflecting GDS cost accurately.

The global DCC per ticket* starting 1 September 2022:

• EUR 17.50 / CHF 17.50 / USD 18.50 / CAD 23.50 / GBP 15 for bookings in the GDS Amadeus
• EUR 19.50 / CHF 19.50 / USD 20.50 / CAD 26.50 / GBP 16.50 for bookings in the GDS Sabre
• EUR 23 / CHF 23 / USD 24 / CAD 31 / GBP 19.50 for bookings in the GDS Travelport, i.e. Galileo, Apollo and Worldspan
