Edelweiss – a sneak preview of summer 2025
Edelweiss is adding two new destinations to its long-haul network from summer 2025 that are also likely to be of great interest to business travelers: Seattle (SEA) in the United States and Halifax (YHZ) in Nova Scotia, Canada.
Seattle, the metropolis in the Pacific Northwest of the United States, welcomes travelers with a combination of urban flair and impressive nature. But that's not all, of course. Many of today's IT and technology giants have their headquarters in Seattle. And not without reason – the city in the state of Washington is always worth a visit for its unique event locations, many networking opportunities and great hotels on the Seattle waterfront.
Halifax in Canada is also an absolute must for business trips. As the location of one of Canada's largest industrial ports, Halifax is an important hub for import and export. Halifax is also the main location of Canada's largest banks, with a steadily growing financial sector. The charming atmosphere and idyllic outdoor regions also make Halifax the perfect destination for extensive corporate retreats or workations.
The new connections at-a-glance:
- Zurich–Seattle (SEA): twice weekly starting 2 June 2025
- Zurich–Halifax (YHZ): twice weekly starting 3 July 2025
With these new additions, Edelweiss now offers seven destinations in North America: Denver, Las Vegas, Tampa(Florida) and soon Seattle in the United States, and Calgary, Vancouver and soon Halifax in Canada.
