SWISS Premium Economy: now available on more routes

Since February 2022, the new SWISS Premium Economy Class has been delighting travelers on the entire Boeing 777-300 route network, setting new standards on long-haul flights. The latest-generation seats alone promise more privacy, enhanced comfort and the best entertainment. Perfect for business travelers who want space for themselves, want to arrive at their destination more refreshed - and appreciate the attractive price.

Innovative hard-shell design, almost one-meter seat pitch, 46cm wide seats, a high-quality in-flight entertainment system and the comprehensive SWISS Premium Economy Service - all this will also be available on board the Airbus A340-300 fleet from January 2023. The upgrade will be completed by April of this year and will be available on routes between Zurich and Johannesburg, Chicago and Hong Kong.

The first A340s with SWISS Premium Economy seats are already in service on selected routes to South Africa and North America. As these routes are not yet open for regular SWISS Premium Economy ticket sales, SWISS Economy Class guests may get to spontaneously experience the new generation of seats.

For 150 CHF / EUR / USD you have the possibility to experience the SWISS Premium Economy Class seat on a converted SWISS A340 on the connections Zurich - Johannesburg (JNB LX282/283) And Zurich - Chicago (ORD LX008/009). Just ask. Rebooking can be done at the counter of the departure airport, at the gate or on board of the respective flight. During the flight, SWISS Premium Economy Class services, such as food and beverages, are not yet available.
